Brig y Don has one twin room on the ground floor, and three double on the first floor. Each double room has a king size bed. The twin bed can be pushed together but as they are framed beds they do not completely join and only single quilts are provided.

We provide a few necessities to make life easier and the car lighter. We offer a cot & cot sheet (please bring any additional bedding that you child needs), high chair, booster seat, stair gate, baby bath, plug guards, steriliser, 'step up', changing mat, nappy bin, night light, and plastic cups, plates, bowls and spoons.
In addition to full weeks we also offer a short break option, either 3 nights over the week end (Friday - Monday), 2 night week end (Friday to Sunday with late check out leaving by 6.00pm Sunday) or 4 nights mid week (Monday - Friday). Please note that short breaks may not be available during busy times of the year.
Yes, Brig y Don is available all year. It has the benefit of under floor heating and a real log burner so making it a cosy base during the colder months.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance payment then due 6 weeks prior to the start date of your holiday. If you are booking within 6 weeks prior to the start date of your holiday, then a full payment is required.
The location of the house and directions can be found on the 'Location & Directions' tab on the booking page. I will also send directions, local shopping information and arrival instructions with the welcome pack the week before your stay.
Cancellation insurance is not compulsory, but we strongly recommend you purchase UK travel insurance to protect against cancellation. If you choose not to take out UK travel insurance, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.

If you cancel 6 weeks or more before your arrival date, only the non-refundable deposit of 25% will retained. Any other monies paid will be returned to you. However, we do understand that on occasions our guests do need to change their booking dates, and we therefore try to be flexible. If we can re-let Brig y Don, we will transfer your deposit for use against a future holiday within one year.
If you cancel 6 weeks or less before check-in, you remain responsible for the full rental. Where we can re-let your dates, the non-refundable deposit will be retained but can be used against a future holiday within one year, with any other monies being returned to you.
We understand how disappointing it is when you find the accommodation that meets all your requirements but is then not available for your dates. If you contact us we can add you to a waiting/cancellation list, so that if your desired date becomes available, we can contact you.
The beach at patch is within walking distance. Although the area is blessed with many award winning beaches, our favourite is the one the house looks out on to (the blue flag Poppit Sands - it's on the other side of the estuary 200m as the seagull flies - 6 miles by road). Many guests also enjoy the National Trust beach at Mwnt only 4 miles away.
The historic market town of Cardigan is 3 miles from the house. Cardigan has a good range of shops together with some great local specialist shops. There are 4 supermarkets - Tesco, Aldi, B&M and Budgens.
